New Jersey Nets 31-36
Denver Nuggets 33-31

Before we get ourselves too carried away with the 3-1 record over the past week, let me bring us back down to earth, the three wins the team recorded over the past week was against teams below 0.500, and the only game against a 0.500 team, which was Miami, we lost. Oh ya, by the way, The Nuggs are a team which is on a four game roll and the outplayed the Suns for what could be their most impressive win of the season.

Anyway, I’ll stop popping holes in our rising balloon. One of the reasons why the Suns lost to the Nuggs was they couldn’t find a way to contain Allen Iverson; they did a decent job on Melo’ but A.I was just too much for them, well, same thing goes here, we have to do a good job on him. The best thing Lawrence Frank could, i think is to play a zone and try to roughen up the boys from Denver abit, some hard fouls, and force them to shoot three pointers from outside by cutting off the lanes, for as far as i know J.R Smith and Dermarr Johnson are the only legit shooters on the team, AND, the way the Nuggets’ offense runs, i don’t think our team is really equipped to stop them if they are allowed to play their up-tempo style of play unless they could force and bog the game down to into a halfcourt game.

Things that are going our way though is that the Nuggets haven’t won a game in ER for 6 straight games, and Anthony is only averaging 17.8 ppg in contests against the Nets, so let’s hop he stays cold, but even better news comes in the form of relief towards Jason Collins, for the first in alot of games, he doesn’t need to face a strong an scoring lowpost player, but that doesn’t mean Nene and Camby can’t score on him.

This is another chance for the team to stretch the lead at the 7th spot, for if everything goes according to plan and Indiana lose to Houston, we would be 1 game ahead of Indy and 1.5 ahead of the Knicks, Go Nets, Jason, don’t screw things up please! thanks!

Lines for the Game
Final Score : Nets by 3
VC projection : 31, 3 threes
Jason Kidd projection : 18, 11, 8
Jason Collins projection : 2 points, 5 rebounds, 4 PFs
Matchup of the Game : Jason Kidd – Allen Iverson

(edit : i have a feeling that we will get torched by somebody, somebody!, I have a really bad feeling that Skippy will make a return, i mean he comes back to haunt us all the time, right???right??)
