We made runs, I told you they won’t stay hot forever and they didn’t but everytime we made a run, they responded, we cut it down to 3 they hit a three or score a killer basket to pull it back upThat’s was the Memphis Grizzlies, they just had something extra in them to pull off the victory today, it was just like the Nets in the previous couple of games against the Sonics and Lakers, we came back but we didn’t do enough to win it, but we played well and I’m happy that we did.

JCN = Hatred

This was probably Vince Carter’s best game in all games played this season, he was making shots, not threes, but shots, passing the ball and grabbing rebounds as well, Jason Kidd’s triple double again’s wasted as the Nets, well specifically the bench, didn’t make their shots, Nachbar’s shot was still in Seattle, the rest just left it on the team bus, but what’s amazing is that Jason Collins in this game alone, had more FGs in his last 14 games combined, how amazing is that? I guess that’s why we’re losing, seriously if he gives the team 6 ppg at least, I wouldn’t mind seeing him on the floor.

Our defense is atrocious by the way, all taht shit about beefing up the interior defense ends up getting worse and besides taht the Griz still have enogh space to shoot a thousand threes and probabkly make half of them, to make matters worse no one could stop Pau Gasol from shitting on us early on, until Mike Miller decides taht pistols ain’t gonna work and starts going long range. Lawrence Frank’s rotation in today’s game was crazy as well, it’s not just that he started RJ, Toine, Carter, Kidd and Collins, I’m okay by that in fact I think it’s a good strategy but letting Collins play 31 minutes? Clearly Sean Williams is playing way better yet Frank chose to confine him onto the bench, this really puzzles the shit out of me, and if decision not to give the reserves some burn leaves me wondering what could have been if he had someother guys in some ohter situation, for example, where’s Magloire? he should be the one playing D on Gasol, but he’s there rotting on the bench waiting for 4 million to drop on his lap, not a good sign for the so called biggest off season signing.

Juan Carlos Navarro sucks, Kyle Lowry is damn promising, Damon Stoudamire should retire, Jason Collins should retire too.

I can’t believe Larry actually did this, RJ, Toine, VC, Kidd and Collins our starting five? WOWWW, anyway, the reson we’re down 12 at the moment is because of Jason Collins, the impossible moment where he scored the two field goals actually stunned the Nets intoo shock and thus allowing the Griz to take the lead.

Pau Gasol is in lights out mode at the moment, but just like any other game in the world, you can’t be hot forever, it’s time they miss some shots, but I hate Juan Carlos Navarro.

Vlad was lucky to escape the poster

Happy Thanksgiving means that the Nets are on a winning roadtrip for the first time in 15 years, all hail Lawrence Frank, not. If anyone had watched the first half against the Lakers, my condolences.

Nets bought the smackdown into the Staples Center, where they sucked during the entire first half, but was killing it totally in the second half, that fourth quarter near collaspe is a re-occuring theme that never grows old, its like Peter Pan, who looks like Vlad Radmanovic. With that said, luck was definitely on our side today, with Kobe Bryant cold from the field as well as missing that key free throw, except for that sudden outburst in the fourth that had me cursing, he wasn’t a big factor, I was more concerned at Jason Kidd’s alrming 6 TOs in the first half than Kobe.

Vince Carter just killed it in the second half after sitting out most of the game due to foul trouble, but I really do not like this role he’s in whether it’s temporary or not, we’re paying him 60 million to be a microwave???Vinne Johnson was a long time ago, now food are served hot, there’s no need for microwaves, no need to bench Skippy, he needs to start immediately, I mean next game, get Toine off the starting lineup.

Are the Nets the worst free throw shooting team in the league? can someone explain to me why guys who averages 80%++ in FTs can suddenly miss 6 FTs? are we a cursed free throw shooting team? or isit just that this team liks to do it the hard way? I have no idea, maybe they don’t like shooting free throws, too much of a hassle, they just like to jack up shots, whom i suspect left his jumper in Key Arena waiting to be moved over to Oklahoma City. Jason Collins playing 7 minutes was a big factor in us prevailing in the end, had he played another minute or two, we would have lost big time.

Other Observations
– Andrew Bynum is getting scary fast, too bad he can’t make free throws
– Sean Williams just needs playing time, Jason Collins doesn’t need any
– All Malik Allen can do is just shoot 17 footers and launch them into space, one of his shots will actually reach Mars one day and signal the growth of mankind.
– Eddie Gill fell asleep one day on Jason Kidd’s bed and had some of Kidd’s genes imported into him therefore the stat stuffing ability started to show a little.
– Jason Kidd was probably thrilled by the fact that Radmanovic was in the house hence he started throwing away the ball, it wasn’t helped when Ronny Turiaf was dancing around like a fag.

NEW JERSEY NETS (6-7)
KOBE BRYANT’s TEAM (0-0)

Sorry but who is the starting point guard on Kobe Bryant’s team? Jordan Farmar? Derek Fisher? one’s a farmer one’s a fisherman. what else? a miner? what? Harold Miner is on the Lakers team too? since when? omg, are they gonna bring out Dell Curry and Tracy Murray out of retirement too? man, for the love of mankind, please be a bit considerate, if you’re bringing all these guys back you gotta have Mitch Richmond and J.R Rider or maybe or maybe get back old Samaki Walker from somewhere, he’s gotta be somewhere, maybe under Kobe’s bed, after all they are going to be playing in his team.

Oh shit, We’re playing against the Lakers? I tot Craters, some new team from Alaska, seriously, if Alaska were to have an expansion team Alaska Glaciers would be nice, Craters would be too, oh wait, we’re talking bout the Lakers where, Andrew Bynum was talked about like a piece of shit by a certain Bryant, but now Mr Bynum is produdcing almost a double double every night even though the great white center Chris Mihm eats up half of his playing time each night.

So the Lakers can school using two ways, Kobe or dumping the ball inside to the dancing gigolo Ronny Turiaf or man child Andrew Bynum, which means Jason Collins starting again? shooting 3 pointers this time? he wants to break my laptop screen? please dont

Unbelievably the team had five guys scoring in double figures, Jason Kidd had a season low 6 assists and we still manage to win this game, isn’t that rare? Carter was playing point guard for half of the game and it’s amazing how Malik Allen can just spend 27 minutes shooting 16 footers from every angle possible. Jason Collins shooting a 17 footer was the ugliest scene ever to emerge onto P2P TV channels.

Richard Jefferson was simply irresistable against the Sonics, he just drove by them at will, even Jeff Green a guy with 3 inches on him have no idea on how to stop him, he was bought to school by RJ tonight, another 30 point performance, and the Josh Boone/Sean Williams combo are definitely deadly when they are use in spurts, Sean Williams reach and extension is just amazing, there’s this play where Delonte West had at least two steps on Weed Boy, but he recovered and swatted his shot into the oblivion, but if only Josh Boone could have better hands that would be perfect, ah, I’m defnitely happy now because there’s so many new things you get to see with this ball club that’s evolving everyday, whether good or bad.

Jeff Green is the best rookie in this Sonics team, not Durant, but Jeff Green, he’s solid, he crashes the boards, can play inside out, all Durant does is just jacking up shots from somewhere, and Damien Wilkins is really good as well, so is Delonte, not so much for Wally Sczerbiak or Earl Watson, did anyone see Vince Carter play in the first half, it was a total clinic, step back jumpers, fadeaways, threes, he just had it in him in the first quarter and the 5 assists he racked up playing point in the second half wasn’t bad either.

Except for the fourth quarter where we AGAIN SHOWED signs of collapsing where the Sonics closed the gap down to a point, which freaking scared the shit out of me, the defense was solid, I guess it’s just the Sonics bigs not really being able to do anything and add in the fact that the Sonics just jack up shots whenever they feel like had a big hand in building our lead as well, but the effort defensively tonight was brilliant.

NEW JERSEY NETS (5-7)
SEATTLE SONICS (2-10)

Is this game the continuation of the Sean Williams legacy? the signs are definitely pointing at that direction, look at the Sonics, tell me that they have two BIG bigs that can guard Sean Williams and I’m not going to the washroom for the rest of today, I mean it, yes there’s Chris Wilcox, but who’s the other one? Nick Collison? spare me..

The Sonics led by the Durants and the Greens are seriously no pushovers tho, I mean on paper this team can win some games, with Sczerbiak and Delonte coming off the bench that’s pretty good, but the important thing today isn’t how Seattle plays or even how they defend us, it’s how the Nets play that matters.

I don’t see why Bostjan Nachbar couldn’t repeat his performance from yesterday and with Vince Carter back in the team, the offensive spacing should only get even better, hence the motion offense should be back running today, Richard Jefferson should go to the line at least 8 times.

Boy oh boy, boy oh boy, I could just repeat this sentence a thousand times and end the review there, but the Nets did something different today, yeah winning was something very different, but that’s not it, the Nets did something very very different, instead of trailing in the fourth and coming in letting the other team expand the lead, the Nets did one better, they came in sucked for the first couple of minutes, and absolutely killed it in the remaining time, massive win, massive morale booster and massive indication that Vince = victory, V for victory right, just clicks.

Why is that video there btw, well if you could just turn a blind eye on Tony Parker and Dwyane Wade, you could actually see Kidd’s and one that sealed the W, Nachbar getting back his legs (shocker), and Vince Carter dunking with a sore ankle. None of them made them made the top 3 tho sadly.

Back to the game, remember when I said we need Nachbar shooting well for us to have a chance at winning games? well this is it, he shot well we won, he shot well against the Sixers we won too, and about how RJ couldn’t score without Vince in the game, see, once Vince was back into the game and started to hit a few shots, the Blazers wasn’t collasping on RJ no more and taht allowed him space to shoot and drive to get to the line, which was how he got his 30 points thru 11 FTs made.

Antoine Wright’s stock isn’t exactly going up but it is slowly ascending, topping double figures in 10 of the 12 games he’s in and still playing good Defense on his part, and he’s shooting the ball better than ever while somehow gaining confidence to dunk the basketball onto anybody, that’s remarkable. I haven’t reached the part where Jason Kidd notched his 90th triple double did I? and I haven’t note that we shot 50% from three with thirteen shots made and 28 assists? and do you know when this game was won? the moment Jason Collins scored his third field goal in 12 games.

It’s good to be winning again. SING WHEN YOU’RE WINNING.

Final Score: New Jersey Nets 106 – 101 Portland Trail Blazers
Jason Kidd line: 12 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists, 1 three
Richard Jefferson line: 30 points, 3 threes, 11-14 FTs
Vince Carter line: 6-8 FGs, 13 points
Collins line: 18 minutes, 2 points, 2 assists, 2 TOs
Sub of the Game: Bostjan Nachbar, 23 points, 5 threes.
NETS RECORD: 5-7
