NEW JERSEY NETS (1-0)
CHICAGO BULLS (0-1)

Oh yes, there are defensive lapses, tons of them, but, let’s not take that as a reason to spoil all the fun I’m having okay? Yeah, I know they let the Bulls come back from a 7 point deficit in the final 2 minutes, and not to mention the third quarter collaspe. But, let’s not again make that as a reason to spoil all the fun shall we?

The BAD
– Vince Carter shooting 6-21, and 0-6 from three, way to welcome back Cousin Skippy.
– Jason Collins starting and having a very productive night, 25 minutes 0 points. For those who likes to defend him, what’s your say on this performance again? oh don’t tell me he held Ben Wallace to single igit scoring, that’s bullshit.
– letting Ben Goron score 16 in the third alone sucked
– inability to defend the basketball, and protect the lead.

New Jersey Nets' Antoine Wright reacts after hitting a three-point shot in overtime against the Chicago Bulls during NBA basketball Wednesday night, Oct. 31, 2007 in East Rutherford, N.J. Wright secored 21 points as the Nets beat the Bulls in overtime 112-103.
Toine’s all bout the goods

The GOOD
– We won our season opener against the Bulls, a powerhouse sort of, yeah I’m feeling like we just won the championship or something.
– 37-41 from the line, 90%, although tis won’t happen again, it’s something really nice to see as this team was crap last season trying to get to the line. and even Jamaal Magloire hitting FTs, that’s gotta count for something, Carter and Jefferson on a combined 24-24.
– Richard Jefferson is officially back, from the highlight dunking, the three point shooting, getting to the line, grabbing rebounds, he did it all tonight, and I’m a happy man.
– Kidd with 13 assists, 5 steals, 8 rebounds, back pain?
– Darrell Armsttrog with a strong debut, same goes for Magloire, he will eventually get more minutes, trust me.
– ANTOINE WRIGHT, the great equalizer, where would we be without this man, 4 threes? he couldn’t even buy one last season and he’s got four threes already? that’s 25k for personal training in the off-season well paid. 21 points for a career high and he just adaded clutch to his list of potential.

highlights (bound to be taken down soon)
