It’s the Final Day of the joint work outs and boy am I glad to see Isiah whispering contract deals into Vince Carter’s ear.

Thaddeus Young, a 6’8″ freshman from Georgia Tech (I’ve got myself a GT jersey), he plays Small Forward and has range on his jumper, and of course any article on Young needs two have this word imprinted on it, UPSIDE. Here’s some highlights

Ivan Carter from Washington Post noted on his latest blog post that the Nets are interested in signing Andray Blatche, whose named I couldn’t help but spell as botched. If the team really does sign Blatche, which would probably eat up all of our mid level cap space, would he be that much of a factor? I mean, teams are looking at him through limited games played for the Wizs and also his UPSIDE, I would rather take the safe route and resign Mikki Moore if that’s the case.

the Nets and Cavaliers are prepared to offer five-year contracts with a first-year salary of around $4 million to Wizards restricted free agent forward Andray Blatche when the free agency period opens July 1.

Ed Stefanski says no to the Kobe deals, and likely will fork out $1.99 to watch the Kobe video, or maybe wait for somebody to upload it onto youtube or something, looks like the Big Three will run together for another year.

Right now we are happy with how we ended the season,” Stefanski said. “You always want to win a championship, but with the health issue and Richard getting back healthy and (Nenad) Krstic coming back, and hopefully we can do something with Vince (who can opt out of his contract). We feel good about our nucleus. Can we add to it? There’s nothing in the works.”

Vince Carter wins another award, matter of fact, a good one.
