Playoffs: Eastern Semifinals: New Jersey Nets – Cleveland Cavaliers game 1 Review May 7, 2007

Getting outrebounded by 14 isn’t really that bad, but giving up 20 offensive boards is. We were one block away from a big game 1 win but Sasha Pavlovic decided to go Tayshaun Prince on Kidd and we ended thinking why did we took so many threes.

Cleveland played the game like how they wanted to, denying drives and penetration moves to the basket. But it really wasn’t that bad, we had some shots that we usually could make most of the time, but tonight it just wasn’t falling for us.

Game 2 will definitely be a better game than this rag tag game of people missing 80 shots, Vince Carter will definitely get things going in game 2, so will Kidd, RJ was decent however, and he defended LBJ very well, although James was sick, RJ defended him pretty much how he should.

Jason Collins played astounding defense on Big Z, and one of the best things of the night was how our bench outplayed the Cavs’ bench 19 – 6, It’s just too bad that the shots aren’t falling, we played as good as we should. Game 2 would definitely be better.
