Posted by netsophobia in Chicago Bulls, NBA talk, New Jersey Nets, Recap.

what a way to finish the season hey, what a way…who said we can’t beat an elite team in the East? i did. oh, so do the Bulls want to get us in the playoffs? bring it on, but wait, too bad, we’re the sixth seed, we’re meeting the Raptors. woohoo!

The Nets dominated early, then let them back in, but, they finished up the game strong, STRONGGG!!!

The team struggled with three pointers in the second and third, that’s what led Chicago to come all the way back from a double digit deficit, but Boki Nachbar hit three big threes in the fourth and we closed out the fourth with 35 points. Josh Boone was even bigger with big plays down the stretch.
New Jersey Nets' Bostjan Nachbar (7), of Slovenia, celebrates with Mikki Moore after hitting a three-point shot during fourth quarter NBA basketball against the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night, April 18, 2007 in East Rutherford, N.J. The Nets beat the Bulls 106-97.
it’s playoff time

Vince Carter nearly had another triple-double to add to his stellar play of late, Mikki Moore led the team early with some great inside play, and shooting 8-11 and 6-6 from the line, Jason Kidd was his usual self, shooting 1-8 from the field, 1-5 from three. Richard Jefferson again is 0-5, but redeemed himself by getting to the line 14 times.

New Jersey will definitely need NEED, to improve their FT shooting, again under 70%, and also find other options when the three is falling.

Anyway, Let the PLAYOFFS begin!!
