Jason Collins is a freak of what? April 4, 2007

Posted by netsophobia in Jason Collins, JC SUCKO-METER CONTEST, New Jersey Nets.

check this out,

23.3 min, 2.4 pts, 4.1 reb, 0.6 ast, FG 37.5%, FT 47.5%, 0.45 blk, 0.97 TO, 3.5 PFs
that, is Jason Collin’s stat line this season,

23.5 min, 6.8 pts, 6.8 reb, 0.6 ast, FG 56.6%, FT 56.9%, 1.2 blk, 1.2 TO, 2.8 PFs
that’s Brendan Haywood’s, good grief, it’s Brendan Haywood.

18.5 min, 6.4 pts, 4.2 reb, 0.6 ast, FG 53%, FT 63%, 0.5 blk, 1 TO, 3 PFs
that, is Johan Petro’s

so can we start comparing? now you know why Jason Collins is a ************? alot, I mean ALOT, of people said that Jason is a guy that does the little things, screens, loose balls, hustle plays, help defense, but seriously, when was the last time Jason Collin jumped out of bounds for a loose ball?

Jason Collins’ has a great basketball brain? he has great IQ? uh, not to me, how does a 68% FT shooter drop to 48% and he still doesn’t work on his FT shooting, god-awful, that’s great IQ? for the love of rotten nuts.

“I have heard NBA players say Collins is a little bit, umm, extra fierce. If that’s true, and he’s someone players fear might injure them, that could have a big effect on shot selection without showing up in any traditional statistics. It would be interesting to see opponents’ shot charts when he is in vs. out of the game. Maybe he leads the league in opponent layups never attempted.”

That was what Henry from TrueHoop has to say, but Henry, when a player needs an “extra fierce” persona to scare players away from the basket, not through shot blocking, but through hard fouls, that’s not saying much about that player.

So everyone, repeat after me, Jason Collins was and still is the worst thing to happen to the Nets since Keith Van Horn.
